Columbia University || Nate & Jenny

natefwarchibald:

jennifer-humphrey:

Jenny strode her eyes as if planning for her great escape. She didn’t really want to see anyone from her past not especially Nate. She left Manhattan for good, in an attempt to reformed herself and be on exile as her conscience was eating her up for all the horrid stuff she had done in the past to her old friends and Nate wasn’t an exception, Jenny had done horrible stuff to him and and mislead him several times, conniving schemes to ruin his relationship with everyone he was in relationship with Vanessa and even joined forces with Juliet, also an old fling of his to put down Serena.  Looking back at how she was then she couldn’t really believe that girl was her. But allot had happen since she left New York.

Jenny hadn’t known anything that had been going on in Manhattan, she convinced herself that she wouldn’t harbor anything with her when she left New York for good. She wanted a clean slate in London and forget the old life she had. And she did, and now she is back. She knew she had to face her nightmares once and for all, the nightmare of facing her old friends and family. And more over that Nate, the only person who trusted her and was always there for her but in the end she forsake him too.

“Hey back!” Jenny replied softly. She didn’t noticed she crumpled the piece of paper in her hand which was scribbled with the code for her locker and dismissively retort back at Nate. “The locker door won’t open. I think the administrator handed me the wrong code.” She continued and paused to think of what she was going to say next. “Well….” She feigned for a second and trailed off. “I though the same thing but apparently..I’m back. I met a friend in London and she badly needs me now so, I decided to come home. Besides I miss my brother and my dad. It’s been so long. Nice seeing you after all this time.” Jenny mused.

Nate looked at Jenny and leaned against the locker next to the one she was trying to get to open, as he started listening to her explaining to him why she’s back in Manhattan, New York. “I’m sure your brother misses you alot aswell, he talked about you sometimes to me. Good things only, of course. I’m sure Rufus missed you, too.” He paused and thought for a second before he continued talking. ”And.. I sorta missed you alot while you were away.” He admitted to Jenny, but hoping she didn’t really hear him.

Jenny beckoned & glanced at Nate for a second but retort & moved her eyes right away, shifting them towards a group of rowdy students just getting out from one of their classes. They were group in clusters and were chattering rather loudly. She coyly respond. “We’ll I haven’t seen them in awhile..I wonder what’s been going on with them. I’ve missed Eric though, I’ve chatted with him once in awhile online but that had rather been scarce. Is he & Serena okay?” Jenny wondered what was going on with her step-siblings.

She heard exactly what Nate whimpered softly, dodging for a quick retort not wanting to let him really know of what was going on her mind nor what she felt for him exactly, Jenny smiled hastily. ‘You just missed my annoyance and my constant damsel and distress act. Without me in the picture you have no one left to look out for.” She chuckled. “We’ll I don’t need protecting, if you’ve noticed I’m not the same Jenny you’ve once met Nate.” She gathered her stuff and was ready to leave. “So I’ll see you around. My classes are over and I was going to the nearest coffee shop nearby for some latte.” She notion.

Good morning all. Blair Waldorf here

“How can I not B, you always make me so welcome and you never fail to make me feel that way” Jenny raised her eyebrow, trailed with a sarcasm on her tone.

“Believe me little J, you have no idea of how kind I am to you” Blair said, a nasty smile on her face as she shrugged slightly

“I’ve noticed.” Jenny rolled her eyes amused of how Blair managed to control herself rather extraordinary. Though her face seemed calmed fixed with a smile on her face, you can tell she was quiet agitated and furious of her presence. Who knows what’s inside her lovely head probably imagining strangling her right at this  moment.

Jenny didn’t flinched but instead result shrugging herself. “I didn’t know you are here in Columbia I thought you were in NYU. I guess it’s Constance all over again.” Jenny beckoned not showing she was sorta worried that Blair was around.

I know what I last said to you, but still…you should have said something. I thought I was your friend, and I deserved at least an goodbye before you left Manhattan, or an phone call from you.

I don’t know…I really didn’t want too.

Alright then…

I’m sorry I didn’t mean to be so rude. How you’ve been Nate?

Cassie’s House || Cassie & Jenny

jennifer-humphrey:

Jenny was so darn excited she finally got back in Manhattan. It had been so long she had been away from her family and old friends in New York. Though it was hard for her in the beginning to leave Manhattan, she found out it was a good idea after all that she went away to London and reformed herself there while she continued her studies.

In England, Jenny had met a few close friends one of them was an American International students just like her, who she hit off quickly, one of them was Cassie Blake. They both attended Central Saint Martins College of Art & Designs. Now they’re both back in Manhattan.

Cassie went back to NY to visit her mother, apparently her mother had something important to tell her but instead it ended rather tragically. On her way home, her mother had an accident and passed away. She couldn’t finished her training in London and so decided to shift her studies back in Manhattan while she stayed with her grandmother’s house. When Jenny heard the latest ordeal Cassie’s been through she couldn’t help not to worry about her and decided she wanted to be there for her best friend. She was alone and so was she. Well not really she still has a father and a brother but it was Cassie who was there for her when no one was for her in London, they shared everything together from the loft they rented to their utility bills everything just about anything they were like sisters not by blood but more than that.

Jenny called her father Rufus and decided she wanted to go back home. When she finally got back in Manhattan she dodged some yellow pages and searched for Cassie’s grandmother’s house and took a drive to see her friend. Knocking on the door, she didn’t know if she had the right address. Finally, an old woman opened the door and Jenny mumbled, her voiced echoed in the house. “Is this..where Cassie Blake lives?” Jenny asked curiously.

Cassie had been sitting in her room at her grandmother’s Manhattan home. Some time had passed since her mother died, but she still felt as though she had heard the news just seconds ago. She still felt her heart break in two every time she thought of her mother’s tragic death.

In her room, Cassie pulled her family’s Book of Shadows out of its hiding place. She opened it up and ran her hands over the aged pages of her ancestry. Over the generations of witches in her family before her. She sighed and put the book down on her bed. Cassie missed Jenny. A close friend she made while abroad in England. She tried contacting her but England wasn’t exactly on her local calling cell phone plan. Cassie’s stomach grumbled, reminding her of the dinner she had yet to eat. Alright, alright she said to herself i’m going.

Cassie walked out of her room and towards the stairs. As her foot hit the second step, she heard a knock on the door and her grandmother’s bustling walk. “Hello?” she heard Gram say.

“Is this… where Cassie Blake lives?”

Cassie’s eyes widen in disbelief. She’d know that small, chiming voice anywhere. Cassie booked it down the rest of the stairs and nearly barreled over her about-to-reply Gram. “Jenny!” Cassie said, hugging the petite blond standing in the doorway tightly.

Jenny wrapped the parka coat she wore over her ivory cardigan sweater underneath. It was getting really chilly out; she couldn’t stand the cold more over muster staying out in the windy snowy weather outside. But she managed to hide her face being uncomfortable standing in front the old lady who opened the door for her.

The old lady wasn’t able to respond to her query, a familiar voice echoed inside the house, someone who’d probably been standing in the stairs just a few minutes while she beckoned to ask if Cassandra Blake resides in the premises. Jenny moved her head to the side to see if it was who she thought it was, she knew the voice so much a small wry smile formed her lips. “Cassie?!” She yelped and saw Cassie’s gripped on the door opening it wide to check who was in the other end. Jenny was stoked by Cassie’s sauntered behind her grandmother and jumped Jenny a hug. Jenny circled her arms around Cassie tightly relieved that she had found the right house and had found her. “I missed you.” She hummed softly almost in a choke.

Jenny and Cassie saw Cassandra’s grandmother opened the door wider for them, gesturing Jenny inside the house. Jenny asked before walking in if she should take her boots down or walked with them inside the tidy little house. Jenny was sorta embarrassed that her boots were soaked in wet ice or snow but Cassandra’s grandmother hesitated not too. She didn’t mine. Cassie & Jenny walked inside the living room, circling an arm around Cassie’s arm Jenny felt home and secured with her. “I’ve been looking for you all day since I got here.”
